Estate Living In Wine Country
Living by the Lake
Beautiful, shimmering, and the focal point of Naramata, Lake Okanagan beckons you at every turn. This large lake is surprisingly warm in the long lazy summer days, and numerous beaches invite you to relax, sun bathe and play in the warm sand. Swimming is a constant pass time for all ages from young to young at heart. Fresh water sports abound here, and both sailing and power boating are very popular. Water skiing, wake boarding and tubing are almost guaranteed on any calm morning.
A renowned Dragon Boat Festival is held every summer at Skaha Lake, a 20 minute drive away, and spectators are warmly welcomed. You can go exploring in a kayak, take a canoe out for an unforgettable camping trip, or try your hand at stand-up-paddle boarding. Or, just chill in your beach chair and take in the amazing views, and the subtle, ever-shifting currents and colours. If you’re really lucky, you may even spot the elusive legendary Ogopogo.
Since Naramata has its face to the west, the long summer afternoons and evenings are yours to enjoy. Linger on your patio with friends and family over relaxed dinners, and enjoy the spectacular sunsets with a glass of wine in hand.
